I have professional experience in educational, non-profit, development, and business environments. In 2005, I received a degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After teaching for three years in Detroit, I earned a Masters of Education from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. I taught for six years in public and private schools. Recently, I completed doctoral coursework in Educational Policy and Higher Education at George Mason University, employing qualitative research methods. I have conducted Educational Policy research with a Special Education Law professor and completed editorial work for the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. In addition to my coursework, I was a Managing Editor for the Journal of Mason Graduate Research, leading the publication of the inaugural volume. I have also mentored international students and taught an undergraduate course on research methods. I worked for over two years as a Donor Relations Writer in the Development Office of Santa Clara University and am now the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Holy Names University.
